A Whirlwind Romance and Supportive Partnership
The couple’s journey began in October 2021 when they were introduced through mutual friends. It didn’t take long for Eben to propose to Anlia. In March 2022, Eben announced their engagement by showcasing Anlia’s diamond ring with a heartfelt caption expressing his happiness.
The couple tied the knot in early February at the La Paris Estate in Franschhoek, Western Cape, with Springbok captain Siya Kolisi and his wife Rachel among the attendees. Since then, they have openly expressed their love for each other.
Anlia has been a supportive partner, attending her husband’s rugby matches and even singing the National Anthem ahead of the third Test against Wales in July 2022. She also wrote a song titled ‘Saam Suid Afrika’ to support her husband during the Rugby World Cup.
