Johannesburg transport MMC Kenny Kunene and Patriotic Alliance leader Gayton McKenzie recently paid a visit to soccer star Bernard Parker at his home in Boksburg. Parker, a former Bafana Bafana international, is currently recovering from a leg injury he sustained during a match. The injury occurred during an over-the-top challenge by Bongani Zungu in TS Galaxy’s 5-4 Carling Knockout penalty shoot-out win over Mamelodi Sundowns.

Despite the severity of his injury, which required surgery, Bernard remains optimistic about his future in football. He plans to return to the field once he has fully recovered. During their visit, Kunene encouraged Parker’s fans to continue supporting him and suggested they buy his autobiography titled “From A Shack To Destiny: Bernard Parker Die Hond”.
