Leandro Gaston Sirino Biography

Leandro Gastón Sirino Rodríguez was born on 22 February 1991. He is a South African Uruguayan professional footballer who plays as a winger for the South African Premier Division club Mamelodi Sundowns.

Career

Sirino started his career as a youth academy player of Peñarol. In January 2017, he joined the Bolivian club Bolívar. A year later, in January 2018, Sirino joined the South African club Mamelodi Sundowns. On 12 September 2020, he scored the winner in the 2019–20 Nedbank Cup final against Bloemfontein Celtic. Sirino is nicknamed as AMG among the Sundowns fans, in reference to Mercedes-AMG.
