Lira Celebrates Two Years Milestone of Recovery After Stroke

Lira, one of the nation’s most gifted vocalists, marked her two-years milestone since suffering a stroke. She commemorated this milestone by sharing a video of herself running in the desert and dancing. This progress was what Lira showcased in her video, and it was clear how much her family relished her recovery. Her friends and family turned out in large numbers during her birthday party to wish her well.

She sang for them, indicating that she was back and ready to start anew. “I celebrated my birthday with an intimate party with my friends and family, and surprised them with a mini concert! I felt safe enough to perform for them – they’ve been with me since I could not speak – and now I performed in English and vernacular – I nailed it!!! It was a proud moment. I could not hold back tears … I’ve come such a long way. I’m so proud of myself. I can’t wait to sing for you at the #Basslinefest on 25 May 2024 ❤️????????”

Lira’s Heartfelt Message

On the occasion of celebrating two years since the stroke, Lira wrote a heartfelt letter expressing her gratitude. “22 March 2024 – Today marks two years since the stroke, and I’m so grateful to be alive and talking and singing. I’ve come such a long way. God is so good!!! ???????????? I’ve had an incredible journey and learnt a lot. I’m almost there ????????????????????,” she said. She concluded by thanking her fans for their support, “Thank you to everyone who has shown me support, thank you for your love and prayers ????????❤️”.
