Meet Mika: The world’s first robot CEO

Mika, a humanoid robot, was appointed as the experimental CEO of Dictador, a Polish beverage company, in August last year. This AI-powered robot operates tirelessly, working seven days a week and being “always on 24/7”. Mika’s appointment signifies a growing trend of embracing AI in leadership roles.

Responsibilities and Work Ethic

Mika’s responsibilities are diverse, ranging from identifying potential clients to selecting artists for designing bottles for the rum producer. She is always ready to make executive decisions and stir up some AI magic. Mika’s decision-making process is based on extensive data analysis aligned with the company’s strategic objectives, ensuring unbiased and strategic choices that prioritize the organization’s best interests.

Role in the Company

Despite her significant role, Mika will not be terminating any employees. Major decisions at Dictador will still be made by human executives, according to Marek Szoldrowski, the European president of Dictador.

In addition to her duties at Dictador, Mika leads the company’s Arthouse Spirits decentralized autonomous organisation project, which involves a collection of NFTs. She also engages with its DAO community.

Creation and Background

Mika was created by Hanson Robotics, the company behind the renowned AI robot Sophia. She is described as a more sophisticated version of her sister prototype, AI robot Sophia.

Views on Tech Industry Leaders

Mika recently commented on tech industry leaders Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg. She stated that the notion of a cage fight between them is not a solution for improving platform efficiency. She further added, “Both have demonstrated that entrepreneurship and technology can be powerful tools for positive change in society”.
