Born in Johannesburg, South Africa, Raphael Griffiths developed a passion for rapping from a young age. After a five-year stint as Vusi Mukwevho on the SABC2 soap opera Muvhango, Griffiths joined the E.tv soap opera Imbewu: The Seed as Zithulele Bhengu, the second son of oil magnate Zimele “Ngcolosi” Bhengu. He transitioned from a recurring role in season one to a starring role in season two, which began on April 16, 2018.

Griffiths was in a relationship with Thuli Phongolo, which ended sooner than he had hoped. The breakup, initiated by Thulisile in 2015, left him devastated. Despite attempts to mend their relationship, they eventually parted ways.
