Sello Maake KaNcube aka Kganyago, returns to ‘Skeem Saam’. Hevmade his exit from the popular show, Skeem Saam, in December 2022. His character, Kganyago, was involved in a scandalous plot where he stole from his lover, Jacobeth Thobakgale, portrayed by Elizabeth Serunye.
The TVSA teasers hinted at Kganyago’s return to the show on Thursday, 13 June. This return was marked by a dramatic event where Rathebe, played by Gontshe Ntshegang, sets a trap for him. The episode aired on Thursday, 13 June, was filled with suspense as Rathebe successfully ensnared Kganyago in his trap.
The episode airing on Monday, 17 June, revealed that Jacobeth would risk her safety in her pursuit to track down Kganyago. This decision added another layer of tension and intrigue to the unfolding drama.
Sello Maake KaNcube returns to ‘Skeem Saam’
Maake KaNcube made his entry into the show in October 2022, portraying a patient of Dr Lizzy, played by Amanda Manku, at Turfloop Hospital. His character, Kganyago, played a pivotal role in the storyline.
Kganyago warns Lizzy about a potential scammer, Luc, whom Lizzy was considering dating. He then proposes marriage to Lizzy’s mother, Jacobeth, and convinces her to invest half a million rand into a scam. He also manipulates her into turning her back on her daughter Elizabeth after she discovered his attempt to scam her mother.
The Unveiling of Kganyago’s True Intentions
In a dramatic turn of events, Lizzy and Jacobeth discover that Kganyago is actually in cahoots with Luc, portrayed by Jean-Michel Tuji Mukengeshayi. Luc had previously tried to swindle money out of Lizzy.
The duo, Kganyago and Luc, were revealed to be manipulative individuals who swindle money out of women and disappear once they achieve their objectives. This revelation marked a significant twist in the storyline, adding depth and complexity to the characters and their relationships.
