After being discharged from the hospital, it was confirmed that Parker would be unable to play for several months. However, the exact duration of his absence from the field remains uncertain. TS Galaxy chairman Tim Sukazi spoke to the media about the situation, emphasizing the club’s commitment to ensuring that Parker received the best possible medical care. He revealed that they opted for a top-range specialist for Parker’s treatment.

Sukazi disclosed that the club spent more than R200,000 on Parker’s medical bills. He stated, “When something like this happens, you need to be sure as a club that you’re good to incur all these medical expenses. They’re not cheap, of course.” He further added, “It’s in excess of R200,000. You have to do it immediately because the situation is urgent.”
