Lionel Messi, the football legend who has been awarded the prestigious Ballon d’Or seven times, has been making waves in his new team, Inter Miami. Despite having only played a dozen matches for them, his goal scoring record is nothing short of extraordinary.

Messi, who is also a World Cup winner, has managed to score a total of 11 goals so far in his stint with Inter Miami. His performance in Major League Soccer has seen him net one goal, while he has scored an impressive 10 goals in the Leagues Cup, as per data from Transfermarkt.com. In addition to his goal scoring prowess, Messi has also been instrumental in setting up goals, with five assists to his name in just 961 minutes of play this season.

Messi’s journey to Inter Miami began when he moved from Paris Saint Germain (PSG) in France to the United States. This move was made on a free transfer and at the time, Messi’s market value was estimated to be around €35 million.
