Zandile Msutwana Biography
Zandile Msutwana, born on 6th July 1979 in King William’s Town, Eastern Cape, South Africa, is a renowned South African actress. She is best known for her role as Vuyiswa Jola in the series The Queen.
Education
Zandile pursued her education at the University of Cape Town (UCT), where she earned a Performer’s Diploma in Speech and Drama.
Acting Career
Zandile began her acting journey while still at university, participating in productions such as King Lear, The Suit, Brink, and Trojan Women.
Early Career
Her professional acting career took off in 2007 when she landed a leading role in the SABC 1 drama series Society. She played the character Akua Yenana, a stockbroker turned lady of leisure, until the series ended in 2010.
Notable Roles
In 2009, she played a significant role as the bride, Ayanda, in the film White Wedding, alongside Kenneth Nkosi and Rapulana Seiphemo.

From 2013 to 2015, she portrayed a main role in Mzansi Magic’s Zabalaza, which also featured Baby Cele.
In 2016, she starred in Mzansi Magic’s drama series Isikizi as Nomazwe, a mother who gives birth to a prince’s son declared by the king’s Sangoma (traditional healer) as a cursed newborn.
She also played the role of princess Nomakhwezi in Igazi’s Season 1, a production by Shona and Connie Ferguson, alongside Vatiswa Ndara, Jet Novuka, and the late Nomhle Nkonyeni.
Currently, she stars in a main role as Vuyiswa Jola on The Queen, alongside Shona Ferguson and Connie Ferguson.
